Nga Tae means ”group of many colours” and we exemplify cultural diversity as a group.

We represent Maori and Pakeha personnel; traditional maori instruments and modern electronica instrumentation; and the use of primarily Te Reo in the language though  English is used, especially  in Witi Ihimaera’s work Star Waka.

We have received considerable feedback, that this group could only have come from Aotearoa New Zealand in both look and sound . We are proud of this feedback, as we all are committed to, and believe we achieve, a small group actively demonstrating  bi-culturalism in action.
